On April 28, 2026 (3-6 PM MSK), the IV International Forum of Journalists from Russia and Africa will take place at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University. This year’s theme is Mass Media of Russia and Africa: The Role in Strengthening Friendship and Solidarity Among the Peoples of the World.
The Forum will address the pressing issues of Russian-African information cooperation. Key topics include the role of the media in building partnership between Russia and Africa, the transformation of media systems in the context of digitalization, and covering traditions, languages, and ethnic identity as a new direction in Russian-African dialogue.
The Forum will be held in a hybrid format in Russian and English. Participation is possible either in person at the TV studio of the Faculty of Journalism, LMSU, or online. Russian-African Сlub based at Lomonosov Moscow State University was established in 2022. The club aims to strengthen ties between Russia and African countries. As part of these efforts, it hosts round table meetings, discussions and other events in order to build a lively and trustworthy dialogue between Russia and the continent of Africa.

The event is organized by the Russian-African Club of Lomonosov Moscow State University in partnership with the Faculty of Journalism and the Faculty of Global Studies, LMSU.
