Faculty of Journalism Greets the Class of 2025

On August 30th, the Faculty of Journalism held a ceremonial presentation of student cards to the freshmen of bachelor's and master's programs.
The event was especially symbolic, as the newcomers begin their studies in the year of the of Moscow State University’s 270th anniversary.
The ceremony was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor Elena Vartanova. She warmly congratulated the first-year students on the start of their academic journey and personally handed each of them the cherished student card. Alongside the Dean, the freshmen were greeted by course supervisors, deputy deans, and other faculty staff.
The celebration continued on September 1st. Knowledge Day was marked with a lecture by MSU Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Viktor Sadovnichy on Sparrow Hills, as well as various events on Mokhovaya Street. First-year students were introduced to the faculty and its surroundings during guided excursions led by tutors. The program also included team-building activities designed to help newcomers get to know one another.
The Faculty of Journalism congratulates all students on the start of the academic year, wishing them success in their studies, true friends, and professional achievements.
