Virtual Open Day for Exchange Students at Lomonosov MSU

The event, organized for foreign students willing to study at MSU, provides potential MSU students with an opportunity to learn all the basic information about internship and training programs available for international students. All those interested could seize the occasion to gain understanding of the structure of university programs, learn the details of research and educational opportunities at MSU, have a glimpse of vibrant student life and address their questions to the coordinators of the programs in real time.
The welcoming address by the MSU rector Victor Sadovnichiy was followed by a brief account of exchange programs and summer schools, after which the coordinators proceeded with an elaboration on their programs and finished their presentation with the introduction of MSU Buddy Program.

The platform also presents all the essential information, conveniently organized into thematic clusters, and allows the potential students to contact the coordinators as well as to find a so-called ‘buddy’, who is supposed to provide informational support and, if necessary, personal assistance upon their arrival in Moscow.
The Faculty of Journalism is extensively presented on the platform, offering more than 10 courses in English on Journalism, Media, Communication and Russian language as well as courses on Media Linguistics (in English, German, French and Chinese). Future students may also discover interesting facts about the Faculty via the video tour conducted by the Faculty professor and admire the beauty of the Faculty building by walking along the Faculty halls via 360° VR tour.
