On 26 October and 2 November, 2012 Professor Tony Maniaty (University of Technology Sydney, Australia) delivered a lecture within the frames of the Master degree course “Current Issues of Mass Media”.
Professor Maniaty teaches courses on international journalism and creative industries at the Sydney Technological University. He used to work at the Australian broadcasting corporation (ABC), BBC, SBS and spent some time as a media consultant.
In his lecture at the Faculty of Journalism Tony Maniaty spoke about the specific features of conflict journalism and war reporting, mass media transformation under the conditions of globalisation.
