Students Of The Faculty Of Journalism Won Seven Awards Of The All-Russian Contest For Young Journalists

Мария Пряженникова 1.jpegOn November 18, Moscow State Linguistic University hosted a series of creative workshops and an awarding ceremony of the 8th all-Russian contest 'Challenge – XXI Century'. Students of the Faculty of Journalism received seven diplomas for both group projects and individual contributions.

Young reporters of the faculty project Journalist Online were honoured for the report from the World Day of Russian Unity, longread on LizaAlert social project, as well as articles on virtual reality and reality journalism. Two categories that earned them the recognition are 'portrait of a contemporary' and 'cultural heritage of the Russian peoples'.

Young journalists from 65 cities presented more than 500 works at the contest, which was organized by the International Press Club and supported by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation. Many eminent media experts and practitioners congratulated the winners, among them Professor of the Faculty of Journalism, Aleksandr Kolesnichenko.
