Dr. Massimo Ragnedda, Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University Newcastle (Great Britain) was awarded title of Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

FB_IMG_1552891457060.jpgWe are happy to announce that Dr. Massimo Ragnedda, Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University Newcastle (Great Britain) was awarded title of Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Faculty council meeting was held on 15 March, and the decision was taken by a unanimous vote of the council members.

Massimo Ragnedda works at Northumbria University since 2012. Before joining Northumbria he worked at University of Sassari (Italy). He is a well-known scholar in the fields of digital inequality, digital divide, social control and surveillance, and he is also co-vice chair of IAMCR Digital Divide Working Group since 2018.

Massimo authored and edited ten books and numerous articles in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese. His most recent publications include ‘Digital Inclusion. An International Comparative Analysis’ co-edited with Bruce Mutsvairo (published in 2018 by Lexington Books) and ‘Theorizing Digital Divides’ co-edited with Glenn Muschert (published in 2018 by Routledge).
