MSU is the Russian leader according to QS World University Rankings

Lomonosov Moscow State University has been ranked the highest in its history, according to QS World University Rankings. QS is one of the most prestigious university rankings around the world, published annually.
‘Lomonosov Moscow State University is the only university in Russia which is included into top-100 best universities around the world by 4 of 5 broad subject areas and 12 particular subjects’ – MSU rector Academician Viktor Sadovnichiy said.
MSU has also become the Russian leader in ‘Communication and Media Studies’ subject area, holding its leading position in the 151-200 group of world universities. The highest indicators of MSU in this subject area are ‘Academic reputation’ and ‘Employer reputation’. MSU is the leading Russian university within this subject area by both criteria.
‘These results prove that only a classical university with harmonious combination of teaching and research, where modern instruments, equipment, researh and teaching methods are used, can claim to be one of the world leaders’ – the rector added.
