A two-week program of the spring school «Russian Media and Journalism» finished at the Faculty of Journalism

A two-week program of the spring school «Russian Media and Journalism» finished at the Faculty of Journalism. On 11-22, April the students from Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Finland and the Netherlands studied the features of Russian media system. They got acquainted with the history and modern state of Russian TV, radio and newspapers and their connections with political and economical systems due to our lecturers – Prof. E. Vartanova, Prof. P. Tamas, Dr. M. Makeenko, Dr. O. Bakoulin, Dr. V. Khroul, Dr. E. Voinova, Dr. E. Sivyakova, Dr. V. Tkachenko and Dr. D. Kulchitskaya.
Also the participants met Russian colleagues at their editorial offices – Russia Today, Russia Beyond the Headlines and The Moscow Times.
Firstly within the frames of the School the students prepared at once three media projects – the special volume of magazine “Journalism”, the online-project and the TV-reporting cycle. The participants presented the results of their work on 22, April at the closing ceremony, where they received the certificates of ECTS-points.
