The Faculty of Journalism is the leading Russian educational institution for journalists. Established in 1952 in the frames of the Moscow State University it educated more then 15,000 specialists who currently work in different fields of media –newspapers and magazines, television and radio stations, news agencies and Web-editions in Russia and abroad.

The Faculty of Journalism hosts 3,000 students from Russia and over 250 international students. It offers more than 200 courses per year and employs about 300 teachers and professional media instructors.

The Faculty of Journalism is the member of international organizations for media researchers and teachers of journalism and has partners in different universities and schools of journalism.
